If you’re looking to go on an off-roading adventure, but aren’t sure what to bring with you on it, don’t worry! We’ll be happy to help you find the best items for your journey. These are some of the more essential items that you’ll need to bring on your trip. Continue reading below to find out more!
If your vehicle doesn’t have a winch – something many do not – you’ll have to rely on other vehicles to get you out of a bad situation. The easiest way to do this is with a snatch strap and shackles, both of which should be rated for the size and the weight of your model. The strap should have a minimum breaking strength of three to four times that of your vehicle while the shackles should be rated for three tons or more.
Your tires are some of the most important components on your vehicle – they’re the most frequently damaged and most frequently hit by the road and the terrain. That said, you definitely need a tire repair kit in your vehicle, whether you’re going off-road or staying on it. You never know when a flat will hit and you might be too far from the road to get assistance immediately.
All the work above, and those unlisted, can be hard on your hands. Especially if you’re doing it in a wet, mud-filled, area, and working with small spaces around sharp and hard edges. You need extra protection and easy grip, so get a pair of heavy-duty, leather-palmed gloves. Simple, but designed to last.
These are just a few of the many items we recommend you bring with you on your off-roading adventures. To learn more about what you can do, or to see what vehicles are listed in our inventory, please contact our dealership today! We’ll be happy to help you find a great deal and take it for a test drive yourself!
