According to the owner’s manual for the 2020 Chevy Silverado, SAE 0W-20 engine oil should be used for models outfitted with the 5.3L and 6.2L V8 engines. Models equipped with the 2.7L L4, 4.3L V6, or 6.6L V8 require SAE 5W-30 engine oil.
